First, EWRT guys, great work on this.  Looks really nice, good instructions on how to setup cross-compile environment, really appreciate it.


Regarding Scott's discussion on nocatauth hacks and gpg, 

Openssl is already in the distro, why not use the crypto hashing/signing functions already in there? The other option is to create a gpg-lite, strip out all the uneeded functionality out of gpg and keep what is needed for nocatauth.  Just some thoughts..  Let me know if you want any help on development/testing, I'm very interested in this as well.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the current distro image compiles to approximately 2.9mbytes.  That leaves roughly 1Mbyte left to play in.  Getting pretty tight in there.  Just about time to get the WRT54GS V2.0S with double the Flash and RAM... or start going through the distro and ripping out what isn't needed to reduce bloat.
